KOMA Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 20, 2026

KOMA is a local comic reader for Android. The app is designed to help you read and organize comic files that you import yourself.

KOMA does not collect analytics, does not sell personal data, and does not send your library metadata to KOMA-owned servers.

Information Stored on Your Device

KOMA may store the following information locally on your device:

Network Access

KOMA uses network access only for features you choose to use, such as browsing an OPDS catalog or importing a file from a direct link.

If you connect to an OPDS server, KOMA sends requests to the server URL you provide. If you save OPDS credentials, those credentials are used only to authenticate with that OPDS server.

Data Collection and Sharing

KOMA does not collect personal data for the developer, does not include advertising SDKs, and does not share your data with third-party analytics or advertising services.

File Access

KOMA asks you to choose files or folders to import. The app uses Android's file picker and only accesses files or folders that you select or grant access to.

Deleting Data

You can delete imported comics, clear cached thumbnails, and remove saved catalog details from inside the app. You can also remove all locally stored app data through Android system settings by clearing KOMA's storage or uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

KOMA is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as KOMA changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
